Re: [Harp-L] Richard asks why are we debating a question .?
Frank,
I would sacrifice my beautiful deep and rich Pucker tone and use only:
TB so I could accompany myself with octaves, splits etc....it's lonely out
there on that island!,-) Plus, if they later found me and if any clubs
opened up on the island someday. I could play at the ones that featured
'Official Chicago Blues'!,-)
but seriously, if I could only use one "embouchure" than I would find that
so uninteresting just chuck the harp in the ocean. Then I would find me a
few 'Conch Shells' and learn to play them as well as Steve Turre.
best,
Rob P

So, Richard - Hypothetically speaking, if you could only use one
"embouchure" on a
desert island which would it be? This is not a trick question... There is no
right or wrong answer...
